so skinny: Dried Fruit is Good (sometimes).

Dried fruit can be dangerous. However it is also a great snack IF and ONLY IF eaten properly. First and foremost, if you eat dried fruit, it must be organic with absolutely no sugar or chemical preservatives added. Otherwise, you are eating the equivalent of a fruit flavored candy bar (and that is disgusting and sure to make you fat).  The other trick to eating dried fruit is to remember that every piece of dried fruit is an actual piece of fruit. Don’t let the cute packaging fool you.  That dried apricot you eat in two bites has the same exact calories as its fresh counterpart.  For instance, would you ever eat 100 grapes? No. So, don’t eat an entire bowl of raisins. Keep this in mind and you’ll be sure to survive snack time without gaining an ounce. 

So skinny. So rich. So happy.
