Everyone is different. For some of you, a solid four hours of sleep is enough to prepare you for world domination. For the less extreme, seven to eight hours is ideal. Some of you boozers may need nine hours just to function. Regardless of how many hours of sleep you require, make sure to get that amount. If you don’t, you will get fat.
Your body needs sleep. When you don’t sleep, you have to find energy from somewhere. Inevitably, that you will find that energy from sugary carbs. When you’re tired, it is a lot easier to say yes to that donut sitting in the office kitchen. However, when you’re well rested, you have the energy to push through until a proper meal is available. So, for the sake of your waistline, be sure to make sleep a priority.
