Hard work is great. It keeps you busy and makes you appreciate your me-time. However, being obsessed with your job is gross. Letting your career consume your entire life makes you no fun to be around. So, when in social settings, make sure to limit the amount of time you spend talking about your job. Sure, a story here and there is fine. Just keep in mind that rest of the world doesn’t care about what your coworkers ate for lunch nearly as much as you do.
