Fighting Cancer

By Holly L Wilson

I am always hearing of people who are losing their fight with cancer. They are at the end stages after having taken their doctor's advice. I find this disturbing because the evidence shows that cancer can be cured, but most people will never learn of the cure because they only listen to the advice of their doctors who are trained by modern medical schools in conventional medicine. Their oncologists advise them to take chemotherapy and radiation treatment but these treatments do not cure cancer. These treatments will attack the good cells and the immune system in the body as well as the bad cells.

Many cancer patients are ill at ease to second guess their oncologists and to start thinking for themselves because they assume their doctor knows more than they do and this is for a good reason since their doctors have studied in medical school and base their knowledge on medical studies published in peer-reviewed journals. However, cancer patients should question whether their doctor really does know best and should begin to look for alternative cures themselves. They should do this because: 1) The studies that doctors base their thinking on are influenced often by what is going to make a Pharmaceutical company money, 2) It is hard for scientists to get funding to study cures that won't result in gain for some company, 3) Pharmaceutical companies are often advising oncologists about treatment options based on what is going to make them money, and 4) medical schools are reluctant to teach any cure that is based on personal testimony rather than a scientific study.

There is another kind of evidence that a patient can take seriously. People fighting cancer can find out about other treatments for cancer by the personal testimony of people who have already won the battle against cancer. Personal testimony has credence when it is backed up by the personal testimony of a number of people. While personal testimony is not a controlled experiment, that doesn't mean we cannot take it seriously. When a number of people are asserting that they have been cured by an alternative method, then that is like an informal study. The control group for such a study is already established: it is made up of those people who have already died from chemotherapy or radiation treatment.

The most widely hailed cure and preventative for cancer is the Budwig Diet. It is a great pity that Steve Jobs did not discover this cure. It is not only cheap and simple it cures within 6 weeks. The cure rate is said to be 90%. And when I say "cure" I mean that the cancer is gone. One can learn about the Budwig Diet from the Budwig Center (http://www.budwigcenter.com/). Their site hosts many examples of personal testimony of people who have been healed of cancer because of the diet. The diet is simple: it consists of flax seed oil and cottage cheese or kefir. Just blend the two together, add some cinnamon and sweetener and eat it once a day. Flax seed oil is an omega 3 the cells need to be healthy and fight cancer and cottage cheese or kefir gets it into the cells. It is also inexpensive. I take this daily as a preventative measure and it costs me about $25 every two weeks. It not only tastes good it makes you feel good and supports your immune system.

The next alternative that holds the most promise for beating cancer is Transfer Point's Beta 1.3D Glucan. Their website is (http://www.budwigcenter.com/) and the product can be bought directly from them. They do not claim that it cures cancer since to do so would put them in direct conflict with the FDA, but they have a host of studies to prove that the product supports immune function and a strong immune system can defeat cancer. This is not a costly cure. The one month supply will run you $40. I take this as a prevention for cancer and to support my immune system so that I stay healthy. If I were fighting cancer I would take both of these products and eat healthy food and I think I would have the best strategy for winning the fight against cancer.
