When purchasing new clothing, ask yourself two very important questions. First, “Do I love love love this [article of clothing]?” Then ask, “Do I love love love [article of clothing] on me?” If the answer to either question is anything but “YES YES YES!!!” leave [article of clothing] in the dressing room and move on with your day. Buying clothing that you don’t love is like marrying someone you don’t love. You wouldn’t (and shouldn’t) pick your husband solely based on availability, so you shouldn’t pick a dress based on sheer availability either. The good news is, if you practice safe shopping and treat your closet as the gem it is and not a trashcan, you will have plenty of funds to buy that designer number that ends up rocking your world.
